What is GitHub-flavored markdown for tables?

GFM tables use pipes `|` to separate columns and a header-separator row of dashes `---`. Alignment is controlled with colons: `:---` left, `:---:` center, `---:` right.

Does pasted CSV auto-parse?

Yes. The tool detects comma, tab, and semicolon separators. Quoted fields with commas inside are preserved. Headers come from the first row.

Why does my table look misaligned in raw markdown?

Column widths in the source don't affect rendering — markdown parsers ignore extra spacing. The tool pads cells evenly for source readability, but any column widths produce the same rendered output.
