Where do the rates come from?

We fetch daily reference rates from the European Central Bank via the Frankfurter API. Rates are cached for one hour and refreshed automatically.

How often are rates updated?

Once per business day, published by the ECB around 16:00 CET. We re-fetch hourly so the site shows the latest rate shortly after publication.

Can I use these rates for actual money transfers?

No. ECB reference rates are informational benchmarks. Real-world transfers (banks, exchanges, remittance apps) include spreads, fees, and intraday fluctuations that differ from the reference.

Which currencies are supported?

30 major fiat currencies: USD, EUR, GBP, JPY, KRW, CNY, INR, CAD, AUD, CHF, and 20 more. Cryptocurrencies are not supported.
